On July 27, 2016,  Holmquist & Gardiner partner and West Seattle Chamber of Commerce board member, Hamilton Gardiner, joined executives from Living Care Lifestyles to celebrate the groundbreaking for "Quail Park Memory Care Residences of West Seattle." Set to open in the fall of 2017, Quail Park will house and care for 66 residents who suffer from Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Attorney Jason L. Bergevin has been selected to serve on the Continuing Legal Education Committee for the Washington State Bar Association until 2019.

On April 25th at the King County Courthouse, attorney Robert Maxwell of Holmquist and Gardiner argued for, and received, a writ of restitution ordering a tenant unlawfully detaining a rental property to be removed and possession restored to the rightful owner. The matter revolved around a family dispute, presenting a series of complex and challenging facts for this eviction. Jason L. Bergevin has been elected to serve as 1st-VP of the ARCADE Board of Trustees., a Seattle-based design publication whose mission is to reinforce the principle that thoughtful design at every scale of human endeavor improves our quality of life.

Jason Bergevin will be a faculty member presenting at the Sterling Education Services, Inc., Construction Law: Designs, Delays, Disputes, and Delivery. The seminar will be held in Seattle, WA on April 29, 2016. Jason will be speaking on the various project delivery systems, the bidding process, and bid protests and environmental considerations.
